Twenty tourism professionals from the region attended the training for modern methods and techniques for promoting the Municipality of Novaci. During this training the experts showed the representatives of the travel agencies and tourist guides ways of more efficient and more interesting presentation of the cultural, natural and historical heritage of the Municipality of Novaci.

The workshop presented ways of networking as a modern marketing strategy to promote the tourist offer, WBGN as a global platform for networking and presentation of the tourist offer with modern technologies. Participants were motivated to make suggestions for putting the tourist paths in the area of the Municipality of Novaci in their offers. They discussed ways of raising the standards of tourism services and infrastructure, expanding the offer with additional activities and attractions and ways of promotion.

“The audience was introduced to the active tourism as the fastest growing branch worldwide, they were also presented the tourist potentials and resources of the Municipality of Novaci, the natural, historical and combined path and the following activities to be undertaken by the local government in this project.” said Marina. Gj. Kitanovska, communication and visibility officer in the project team of Lhi Lna 2.

“Today’s workshop is being organized in order to use all possible available marketing techniques to promote the rich cultural heritage in the region of the Municipality of Novaci and thus to develop the alternative tourism” said Lazar Kotevski, of the Municipality of Novaci.

The agenda of the workshop offered a lot of opportunities and ways of thinking to put active rural tourism in function of local economic development of the region.
